Oliver Diglesias
Oliver Diglesias, whose real name is Oliver Javier Díaz Iglesias is a singer, journalist and presenter of Colombian TV stations such as (Canal 23 ) and RCN TV Network.
== Beginnings and academic background==
Raised in Barranquilla, Colombia, Diglesias was born on November 19, 1986. Once finished with his high school, he decides to study journalism as a second option since he was pursuing a career as an artist, according to El Heraldo de Barranquilla Newspaper on its August 2, 2009 issue.
On June 2003 and encouraged by his mother, Diglesias starts his undergraduate studies in the School of Social Communication and Journalism of (Universidad Autónoma del Caribe ). Rather than practice the profession, he did it to promote his artistic career
Nonetheless, during his studies in Barranquilla Oliver was recipient of 7 scholarships for his outstanding academic achievements, along with a special distinction to continue with his Graduate Studies.
